The Beef Livestock Market Day, which takes place next Tuesday (25), in Cascavel, Paraná, will discuss strategies for livestock farmers to achieve good performance in animal rearing.
The zootechnician and scientific researcher at the São Paulo Agribusiness Technology Agency (Apta Colina), Flavio Dutra de Resende, will explain why it is necessary to increase the average daily gain of animals in the rearing phase.
“I will show, in my talk, how to accelerate weight gain at this stage to bring forward the average age at slaughter and present nutritional strategies used at different times of the year (dry, rainy and transition periods)”.
Beef Livestock Market Day is promoted by the Brazilian Agriculture and Livestock Confederation (CNA), the Paraná State Agriculture Federation (Faep) and the Cascavel Rural Union.
The objective of the event is to disseminate the technical and economic analyzes identified by the Campo Futuro Project in the region, integrating them with market information.
