On Thursday (19), once again, wholesale egg business in São Paulo remained unchanged. As a result, the average daily price of a box of white eggs continued to be traded at a minimum of R$85.00 and a maximum of R$87.00, while red eggs were sold from R$10.00 to R$13.00 more per box, i.e. minimum of R$95.00 to maximum of R$100.00.
In the last 30 days, white eggs suffered a decline of 9.5%, while for red eggs the drop rate was slightly higher, at 11.8%. According to Jox Assessoria Agropecuária, there began to be additional offers of the product and, given the existing scenario and the lack of perspective, the market became weak. Promotions are already starting to take place with the aim of increasing the product’s reach.
