The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded an increase of 3.00 cents in May/17 contracts on Thursday (27.04), closing at US$ 3.62 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT also closed the session with gains of 2.50 and 3.00 points.
The North American corn market had a day of gains in the main futures prices, with the confirmation of the return of rainy weather in the Midwest of the United States. The volume of precipitation will further delay the pace of planting the new crop, which was already slower than normal.
