Soybeans fall and reach lowest price in 5 months – Agrolink Analysis

The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 7.75 cents in the May/17 contract on Monday (03.04), closing at US$ 9.3825 per bushel. The July/17 contract also fell by 7.75 Dollar cents, while the August/17 contract depreciated by 7.50 Dollar cents.

On another day of decline in the North American soybean market, the main futures prices recorded losses that left prices at their lowest level in the last five months. The oilseed continues to be pressured by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) announcement of an increase in the projected area planted for the season.
