Sweet almond oil, yellowish in color and with a mild odor, can be extracted by solvent or cold pressing (rare due to cost). Originating in the Mediterranean region, it is cultivated in countries such as Spain, Italy, Portugal, Iran, the United States (California) and southern Brazil. Rich in vitamins A and B, oleic, linoleic, palmitic acids and antioxidants, it has moisturizing, softening, regenerating and emollient properties, preventing wrinkles and restoring skin elasticity.

Widely used in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, it is the preferred oil for aromatherapy massage and is indicated in concentrations of 1 to 5% in products, and can reach 10% in bath oils.
