From March 21st to 24th, the 2017 edition of the Show Safra exhibition takes place in the municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde (MT). Organized by the Rio Verde Foundation, the business fair aims to provide rural producers with tools and technologies aimed at crop profitability. Among the exhibitors, highlights include the companies DuPont Pioneer and DuPont Protection de Crops, which present new hybrids and a complete line of agrochemicals for corn and soybean crops.
DuPont Crop Protection announces the launch of the fungicide Vessarya® at the event. The product, which has just received official registration from regulatory bodies, is described by researchers as a cutting-edge solution for controlling oilseed diseases, especially Asian rust. Vessarya®, informs DuPont, brings together in the formula the molecules Picoxystrobin and Benzovindiflupyr, considered the most active of its chemical groups.
“This is an innovative technological solution, which does not require the use of adjuvants and provides exceptional results compared to other technologies on the market”, points out Raphael Godinho, Brazil marketing manager at DuPont. According to the executive, Vessarya® has been developed for around five years in Brazil, in experimental crops.
DuPont Pioneer will highlight the 96Y90 soybean cultivar at the event. According to the company, the technology is tolerant to glyphosate and cyst nematodes and an excellent option for increasing the productivity of crops in the region.
According to DuPont Pioneer's account manager in the Mato Grosso region, Edemilson Calir Menezes, the company will also bring to the event corn hybrids with Leptra® insect protection technology, formed by the association of Agrisure Viptera®, YieldGard®, Herculex®I, and Liberty Link®.
In Brazil, points out DuPont Pioneer, Leptra® technology is also available in a version tolerant to the herbicide glyphosate, containing Roundup Ready™ 2 Corn technology. “Due to its broad spectrum, Leptra® technology is an excellent choice for farmers seeking safety and profitability in their crops, as it helps control the main caterpillars that attack corn crops”, adds Menezes.
DuPont Pioneer's commercial and agronomic team will promote guided tours of its stand, with an emphasis on information on the evolution of corn phenological stages, plant population, in addition to the benefits of Industrial Seed Treatment and Good Management Practices, including Management Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Insect Resistance Management (MRI).
