The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a slight drop of 0.0175 cents of Dollar in the May/17 contract on Wednesday (22.03), closing at US$ 9.9975 per bushel. The July/17 contract fell by 0.015 cents of the Dollar, while the August/17 contract depreciated by 0.0025 cents of the Dollar.
The North American soybean market experienced greater declines, but remained practically stagnant in the main futures prices, with no news driving the price. Support continues to come from international demand for the US cereal, with more sales to China being announced.
