Soy opens week with slight losses – Agrolink Analysis

The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 0.50 cents of Dollar in the May/17 contract on Monday (13.03), closing at US$ 10.06 per bushel. The July/17 contract fell 0.50 cents of the Dollar, while the August/17 contract depreciated 0.25 cents of the Dollar.

The North American soybean market opened the week with slight losses in the main futures prices, with investors maintaining positions waiting for an improvement in the price. The fundamentals are still under pressure from the large harvest projected for South America, while in the United States there is still no definition of the climate for the next season.
