REAM 2024 (Meeting of the Americas) was held from September 3-5, 2024 at the Plaza Mayor in Medellín, Colombia.
Our experts in animal recycling, Caio Torres and Gabriel Selva, actively participated in the three-day event. The event, which focused mainly on business and networking, brought together industry leaders and companies from various sectors in the Americas. The main objective, therefore, was to promote the exchange of experiences and enable the closing of deals in real time. Supported by the AgriGlobal Market platform and OPEN IT, the event was attended by more than 350 companies, which offered an excellent opportunity to expand business partnerships and develop new contacts.
In addition, inspired by the format of American trade fairs, REAM 2024 included a series of lectures on the animal recycling market, as well as business rounds that generated concrete opportunities for new commercial agreements. One of the most memorable moments was the welcome cocktail party, held at the El Castillo Museum in Medellín, providing participants with a unique cultural experience. This facilitated interaction and networking. This relaxed moment was therefore essential to create a more informal and collaborative environment, favoring integration among those present.
Another highlight was the high quality of the participating companies, which not only maintained the high level but also demonstrated a significant increase in number. Compared to the previous edition, REAM 2024 had twice as many participants, thus reinforcing its importance as a reference event in the sector. In addition, the event boosted the development of new clients and the reactivation of inactive businesses, further strengthening the animal recycling market and promoting greater unity among companies in the Americas.
