The agricultural machinery sector is represented for the first time at Campus Party Brasil, the largest technology fair in the country and one of the most important in the world. An agricultural machinery manufacturer exhibits its work there. The company shows how it is seeking technological innovations to facilitate the routine of those who work in agriculture. The event, which is in its 10th edition, opened its doors this Tuesday (31) and continues until next Sunday, at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion, in São Paulo – SP.
The North American company John Deere is one of the agribusiness representatives present at the fair. The company took a harvester simulator to the exhibition center. While the machines are in full swing across Brazil at the end of the summer soybean and corn harvest, participants can get a taste of the thrill of getting behind the wheel of one of the farming giants.
In addition, John Deere is promoting a competition called hackathon between this Thursday (2) and Saturday (4). This is an event in the format of a programming marathon. The objective is to encourage, within the fair, the development of solutions to field demands. Participants who go to the site will have the following theme to think about: “John Deere App – The field in the palm of your hand”. Whoever wins will win a trip to the company's headquarters in the United States.
Application
Another agribusiness company participating in the Campus Party is uBoi, an application that helps livestock farmers with the task of managing their farms. The software for mobile devices was chosen in the 4th edition of Pograma Startup & Makers to participate in the fair. The company participated in the selection with 600 other candidates and was selected to participate in the “early stage” category.
