The wheat harvest in Argentina came to an end approximately 10 days ago and total production was 15 million tons – obtained thanks to the highest productivity in the last five years, of 60.6 bags per hectare. The volume is 39% higher than the previous cycle, when the harvest was 10.8 million tons. When total production is compared to the average of the last five years, the number is 33% higher. Export taxes and marketing limits were eliminated in 2015 in the country.
