The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 3.50 cents on the Chicago Grain Exchange on Friday (20/01) in March/17 contracts, closing at US$ 3.6975 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions on the CBOT closed the session with valuations between 2.75 and 3.50 points.
The North American corn market closed the week with gains in the main futures prices, supported – once again – by strong international demand. Weekly cereal exports, released on Friday by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), confirmed investors' projections.
