The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 2.50 cents in the January/16 contract on Thursday (1st.12), reaching US$ 10.2975 per bushel. The March/17 contract fell 2.25 cents on the Dollar, while the May/17 contract depreciated 3.50 cents on the Dollar.
For the third consecutive day, the North American soybean market suffered losses in the main futures prices, showing signs that demand is beginning to be directed to South America. Even so, the falls were limited due to the latest export sales reports , especially for China.
