O Confinement and Recreators Meeting 2024, organized by Scot Consultoria, took place from April 9th to 12th, held in the cities of Ribeirão Preto and Barretos, in São Paulo. The event, which was attended by our experts, focused on lectures and debates about cattle breeding, markets and confinement, in addition to including a field day at Confinamento Monte Alegre, in Barretos. The conference attracted 1,204 registrants from 309 cities in 20 Brazilian states, as well as participants from Bolivia, Colombia and Paraguay.
On the first day, the event was dedicated to rearing, focusing on discussions about management techniques and calf quality. On the second day, market trends and projections for the livestock cycle in 2025 were addressed. The last day focused on specific topics for feedlots, discussing management and diversification in agribusiness. The meeting ended with a field day offering workshops and a barbecue festival, providing participants with practical experience in addition to theoretical discussions.
