The price of soybeans on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 4.25 cents on Friday (18/11) in the January/16 contract, reaching US$ 9.9375 per bushel. The March/17 contract rose 3.75 cents per dollar, while the May/17 contract rose 3.25 cents per dollar.
The North American market closed the week with gains in the main soybean futures prices, supported by new export sales announcements. The rises are contained by the fluctuation of the Dollar and the financial market, which are experiencing a moment of instability and can increase risk aversion.
