Advancement by region
The data was released in Technical Circular No. 182, from Casa Rural, this Thursday (27). With the soil showing little moisture due to the lack of rainfall, many producers chose to postpone the start of planting. According to Aprosoja/MS, approximately 1.1 million hectares have been planted in Mato Grosso do Sul so far, which means that 45.4% of the state's crops have already been sown.
Also according to information gathered in the field by Siga MS technicians, it appears that the southern region of the state has an average percentage of more advanced planted area, around 56.5%. In this region, the municipality of Coronel Sapucaia has already finished sowing. Another five cities in the south of the state have already approached 80% of planted area.
In the northern region, however, only 24.7% of crops were sown. The municipalities of Alcinópolis, Camapuã and Paraíso das Águas have not yet started planting. The central region has 31.2% of planted area, with the municipality of Bandeirantes being the most advanced, with 40% of completed planting.
