rural.
With this in mind, we can say that some events on the national agricultural calendar are,
simply, unmissable. One of them is the Confinement and Recreators Meeting, by Scot
Consultancy, which brings together thousands of participants and experts to debate health,
nutrition, productivity and other topics related to the world of confinement and rearing.
The ECR, as it became known, is the company's most traditional event, attracting interested parties
from all corners of Brazil. The 2024 edition will take place from April 9th to 12th, with the three
first days in Ribeirão Preto/SP and the last, known as “field day”, in
Barretos/SP.
What to expect from the Confinement and Recreators Meeting?
As it is an event that is divided between confinement, recreation and the so-called “field day”, the
participant has the option of purchasing the entire meeting or selecting just the day of their
interest.
While the 9th is focused on themes related to rearing, the morning of the 10th includes
confinement and rearing. The afternoon of the 10th and the 11th bring lectures and debates aimed at
confiners.
In addition to being in an environment conducive to exchanging knowledge, livestock farmers
also have the chance to connect during various coffee breaks that take place around the
throughout the intervals.
Discover the field day, which takes place on the 12th
On the 12th, the event ends with the field day, in which participants go to the
Confinamento Monte Alegre – CMA, in Barretos, where they participate in workshops and
visit agricultural farms.
The idea is to show, in practice, some of the techniques and concepts discussed on stage.
After noon, a celebration takes place with drinks, barbecue and the traditional
Burning of Garlic at the Festa do Peão de Barretos, offering another great opportunity
for participants and experts to make connections and new business.
How was the 2023 edition?
The last edition of the Confinement and Recreators Meeting, held in 2023, beat the
record 1,378 subscribers. At the time, tickets were sold out with some
weeks in advance.
