The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded a drop of 9.50 cents in December/16 contracts on Tuesday (13.09), closing at US$ 3.30 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions closed the session with devaluations between 9.25 and 10 points.
The North American corn market had a day of heavy losses in the main futures prices, when, finally, it felt the effects of the new bulletin from the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture). The beginning of the harvest in several producing regions is also beginning to put pressure on prices.
