The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange recorded an increase of 5.25 cents on Thursday (08.09) in December/16 contracts, closing at US$ 3.385 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions closed the session with valuations between 5.25 and 6.00 points.
The North American corn market recorded its fifth consecutive session of gains in the main futures prices, now gaining support from forecasts indicating that the United States harvest could be readjusted downwards.
