The price of corn on the Chicago Grain Exchange registered an increase of 8.25 cents on the Chicago Grain Exchange on Thursday (1st.09) in December/16 contracts, closing at US$ 3.2375 per bushel. The other highlighted commodity positions closed the session with devaluations between 8.00 and 9.50 points.
The North American corn market closed the day with important increases in the main futures prices, supported by strong international demand. Investors went shopping after receiving the USDA's new weekly export sales bulletin, which confirmed the competitiveness of US cereal.
